The Solstice Renovation Process
Our renovation process is a transparent step-by-step guide to our design and remodeling process. We will review this process with you during our initial consultation and we recommend you refer to it during the renovation as a guideline.
Initial Consultation
This may be a simple phone call or an appointment in our showroom. We will discuss the scope of work, your desired timeframe, and possibly some ballpark figures for the project to make sure we are a good fit for each other.
Preliminary Drawings and Estimate
Next, we will need to come out to your house to measure the project area. More detailed information will be gathered during the site visit to make sure we know exactly what you are looking for. From there, we will take your wish list and start the process of making your dream a reality. You will visit the showroom where we will present 3D renderings as well as a line by line description of your entire project. This estimate will be accompanied by all of the product allowances and a final projected cost for completion so you will know exactly what you are getting when you choose us.
Agreement and Commitment
Once we decide to move forward together we can make any necessary changes or modifications to the design and estimate to make sure the project is exactly how you envisioned. We then sign our contract and continue our journey together.
Selections and Ordering
Here we guide you through selecting all of the products needed to complete your project using our extensive knowledge gained through decades of experience working with these materials. Once we find the perfect product for your project and ensure that it meets our rigorous quality standards we will order them and stage them in our facility until they are needed on site.
Preconstruction Walkthrough
This part of the process is really about making things go smoothly. We take note of even the tiniest of details so we can prepare for the project and minimize any surprises that may pop up. It is also a good time to address any of the more detailed questions that may arise once you are truly engaged in the project preparation and have a better understanding of the work that will be performed.
Start of Construction
At this point, all of your hard work is done! This is where we go into auto-pilot. You can sit back and enjoy watching the best crews in Maryland expertly bring your vision to life.
Job Completion and Warranty
The typical project length of a kitchen or bathroom is around 3 – 4 weeks. All jobs are different but this is a pretty fair estimate. We will do a final walkthrough with our punch list to make sure we take care of every detail. But don’t worry, if you don’t notice something right away we will always come back and take care of you. We stand by our work and take pride in the fact that you will be enjoying your new kitchen or bath for decades after we are done.
