These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of solsticekitchenandbath.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Solstice Kitchen & Bath (“Solstice,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a licensed Maryland home improvement contractor (MHIC #127642). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About the Site

The Site gives general information about our design and remodeling services, our past projects and how we work. It is for informational purposes only and is not an offer to sell or perform services. Content on the Site, including descriptions, project photos, design ideas and examples, is illustrative. Every home is different, and results depend on your space, scope and selections.

Projects Require a Written Contract

Submitting a form, chatting, calling or receiving information from us does not create a contract. We perform home improvement work only under a separate written contract signed by you and Solstice, as Maryland law requires. Your contract sets out the scope, price, payment schedule, timeline and warranty for your project. If anything on the Site conflicts with your contract, your contract controls. You can verify our license with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.

Pricing, Estimates and Financing

Any pricing, budget ranges or package descriptions on the Site or in our marketing are general information, not quotes. Your price is set only in your written proposal and contract after we review your project.

Financing, when available, is offered by independent third-party financing providers, such as Acorn Finance, not by Solstice. All financing is subject to the provider’s application, credit approval and terms. We do not guarantee approval, rates or terms.

Communications and Text Messaging Terms

When you submit a form, start a chat or give us your contact information, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry, appointments and project by phone and email and, if you gave us a mobile number and agreed to receive texts, by text message. Our chat and messaging may be supported by automated tools.

• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (410) 451-3456.
• Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We handle your mobile number as described in our Privacy Policy, and we never share it with third parties for their marketing.

Reviews, Testimonials and Photos

Reviews and testimonials on the Site come from real clients, including reviews posted on Google and other platforms. They reflect individual experiences, may be shortened, and do not guarantee the same results for your project. Project photos show work by Solstice unless we note otherwise.

Information You Submit

You agree that the information you submit through the Site is accurate and that you have the right to share it, including any photos of your home. You give us permission to use what you submit to respond to you and to plan and perform your project. We will not publish photos you send us, or your name, without your permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• submit false information, spam, or content that infringes anyone else’s rights;
• copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the Site by automated means;
• interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or try to gain unauthorized access to it;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship with anyone.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, photos, designs, graphics, and the Solstice Kitchen & Bath name and logo, belong to Solstice or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to or include services from third parties, such as Google, Houzz, social media platforms, financing providers, and form or scheduling tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the Site, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or free of errors or harmful components. Warranties for our work are provided only in your written contract.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Solstice and its owners, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under your written contract with us or under laws that cannot be waived.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Solstice and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state courts located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, or in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Disputes about a project are governed by your written contract.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using the Site after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce any part of these Terms, that is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Solstice about your use of the Site. They do not replace any written contract for a project.
