Kitchen Remodel Before and After
This kitchen remodel in Crofton, MD balanced decorative and functional changes to create a kitchen that works for this family and their home. We improved openness and flow throughout the space by removing a railing that separated the kitchen and family room, while also replacing the patio door. A key focus for this new design was to upgrade the functionality of the cabinetry plus increase the pantry’s size for improved kitchen storage. A new hutch further supplemented storage and offered space to display decorative items.
Two-Tone Ivory and Green Design
Our team worked closely with the client to create a kitchen design that exceeded the family’s expectations. The homeowners wanted a kitchen that fits their home’s sophisticated and classic design aesthetic, and we delivered, on time and within budget. Every member of our design and remodeling team worked together to bring their vision to life.
New cabinetry is the foundation of this kitchen design. We upgraded the old builder grade thermafoil cabinets with a fresh new cabinet design, featuring Ivory perimeter and Haven Green painted island cabinetry. Honey Bronze hardware from Top Knobs and a Brushed Gold Moen kitchen faucet pull the look together.
The Olympus Quartz Adonis countertop and Zelllige tile in Blanc Glossy balance the space and give the kitchen a fresh, elegant feel. We also changed the old, dated tile to wood floors from Mercier in Maple Gunstock. Wood flooring grounds the design, and installing the same flooring throughout the kitchen, foyer, and hallway ties the entire first floor together.
The result? A kitchen designed for everyday living with efficient storage, an open layout, and a clean, sophisticated style.
