This bathroom design needed a complete rethink to create a layout that works. The original bathroom had a small shower and a huge tub deck that dominated the room’s floorplan and made this primary bathroom feel much smaller than it really is.
Poor space planning meant doors hit each other and blocked the entrance, making the room difficult to navigate. The Solstice team worked with our client to redesign this bathroom to better utilize the space, resulting in a stylish and functional design.
Custom Walk In Shower Design
We started by removing the tub deck and greatly increasing the size of the shower. Next, we moved the door to the linen closet to the side of the closet. This way it no longer interferes with the bathroom entrance door.
The floating vanity cabinet elevated the design, giving it a sleek, contemporary feel, along with the taller backsplash and wall-mounted faucets. The combination looks great and opens up the countertop space, letting the stunning Taj Mahal quartzite vanity top become a stylish focal point. The Decora Cabinetry vanity in Chantille includes efficient storage space, with U-shaped top drawers.
The entire space is accented by honey bronze fixture, creating an inviting design. A wood look tile floor introduces the warmth of wood tones plus the durability of tile. The basketweave mosaic shower floor tile is a show stopper that brings the entire design together. The result is the perfect primary bathroom that is easy to use, looks great, and can stand up to constant use.
