Kitchen Remodel Before and After
In this Gambrills, MD home, we worked with our client to transform a very small galley style kitchen into an entertainer’s kitchen design. The homeowner closely collaborated with our team every step of the way to create their dream kitchen design with a fresh, vibrant color scheme, beautiful materials, a functional and sociable layout, and ample storage solutions. The island offers space for two barstools, perfect for a coffee with a friend.
A two-tone custom inset cabinet design in cream (perimeter) and green (island and coffee bar) creates a striking style for this kitchen, paired with polished nickel hardware. The perimeter and custom coffee bar feature Brown Fantasy quartzite countertops, while the island includes a butcher block countertop. Hand crafted floating shelves made from exotic lumber by a Solstice Kitchen and Bath craftsman complement the coffee bar and a corner niche.
Kitchen Design to Entertain
This kitchen design is packed with storage to create an organized, efficient, and stylish space. Open shelves offer the ideal place to display decorative dishware and accessories. The coffee bar incorporates glass front upper cabinets, perfect for storing glasses. The main cabinet layout has pull out storage, trash and recycling pull outs, and an appliance garage for stowing the heavy stand mixer. The combination of storage features means everything is easy to find and clean up is a breeze.
