This primary bathroom design required a complete rethink, as the original bathroom layout was tiny and did not fit the family’s requirements. The adjacent closet was too large and underutilized, while the dead area in between the bathroom and closet was wasted space that needed to be reclaimed. Our client wanted to expand the original tiny bathroom layout into a proper primary bath that better served the family’s needs and made more effective use of the available space.
To achieve the homeowner’s goals for their space, we reimagined the space as a whole, designing a new layout that utilized every square foot to its best advantage. The original huge closet was too big for the room, and the space in between the closet and bathroom did nothing. We combined all three spaces, which allowed us to create an amazing primary bathroom design.
Reimagined Primary Bath Design
The remodeled space includes a large vanity with two sinks and a huge custom shower. The Homecrest Cabinetry Sedona vanity in Willow is accented by a Fantasy Brown natural stone countertop with leather finish plus matte black plumbing fixtures and accessories.
The new design also incorporates an open linen closet with gorgeous teak shelving that provides essential storage while enhancing the space with a warm wood accent. With clever design choices, we were still able to retain a large walk-in closet, and improved its functionality with a new closet system!
